I loved this story - truly, truly loved it. I too was leery about reading a story with a female OC (especially Hakkai and a female OC) but I think you struck a wonderful balance between the pain and the joy of the moments they shared together. I also like how very strong she was, even in her moments of weakness.

I'll be reading this one again for sure.
