1. battlestar galactica 2003:
   Started watching it because of Jamie Bamber (of Hornblower fame). Thought the miniseries was great, and have stuck around just to see what happens (and whether he gets nekkid again).
2. david wenham:
   Faramir yummy!
3. george mallory:
   Historical hottie. Known for running around the Himalaya nekkid. (Is this a theme?) He tried to climb Mt. Everest from the Tibetan side in 1923; he and his partner disappeared and it was not known what happened to them or whether they reached the top. Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay reached the top in the early 50s, but they didn't find him because they climbed from the Nepal side. Mallory's body was found in nearly perfect shape in 1999 but it was missing his camera and a photo of his wife that he'd planned to put atop the mountain. Personally I hope he did make it before his fatal fall.
4. ivan vorpatril:
   Character from the Vorkosigan books by Lois McMaster Bujold, one of my mostest favoritest book series ever. Space opera at its finest. Ivan is the one who looks heroic but mostly ends up as sidekick. I love Ivan.
5. las vegas:
   I live here! If you're coming out anytime, give me an e-mail and we'll meet up for drinks and fannish stuffs. :)
6. master and commander:
   Great series of books by Patrick O'Brian. Wow, who'd have thought that 19th-century naval fiction would be so funny and so touching and so much fun? Great movie, too. Russell Crowe IS Jack Aubrey, I swear. My current icon is from a picture of me and sharpeslass (hidden behind the wheel) on the ship used as the HMS Surprise in the movie.

   Uh, duh?
8. ranma 1/2:
   Ranma 1/2 is a Japanese cartoon series that I adore. My online name comes from mixing this fandom (Shampoo is a purple-haired Chinese Amazon warrior girl) with my biggest fandom, Star Wars. Ryoga/P-Chan is my favorite character, EVAR.

Yes! Yes! Thank you! Grrr.... I emailed you from work, but I guess it didn't go through... I should have learned not to do it! My work e-mail is crazy. It seems that several ISPs have decided that State Bar of Nevada e-mail is spam and anything we send is blocked. It's a real pain in the butt when we try to send lawyers reminders of something and they never get the reminder.

Yup, it was there! Of course they said they haven't figured out a way to let anyone tour it yet, because of the small size of the portholes and stuff.

And sorry we didn't see you! But, we were there for like one night, my roommate, me and my Mom. We went to Sea World and spent a lot of time on the ships. :)

THey now are allowing tours. Suzanne and I toured it the past Sunday. THey have a hatch simulation set-up on the pier so you know what you have to pass through on the sub. IT was way cool looking through a real periscope.
