Dear Trey Parker and Matt Stone:
Re: Tonight's episode of South Park

We love you. We love that you did an episode of South Park making fun of Scientology/Tom Cruise/John Travolta. We love that you actually called it "Scientology" and didn't take the Millenium/X-Files/Bowfinger way out. We love that you made fun of the "big secret" behind Scientology-- Xemu and the volcanoes-- and that you made them greedy bastards. We love that Stan said "sue me" and that all the people listed in the credits were John Smith or Jane Smith.

And when the Church of Scientology in its ever-litigious way does decide to sue your asses off, we offer you a home with us. We, jedishampoo and sharpeslass, will cook and clean and let you sleep with us and generally bask in your genius.

It was worth staying up until 10:30 for. Wayyyy worth it.

Ooh, damn! I didn't have cable this week and missed it! Good for them! It's about time someone damn tackled it without any fear of the reprecussions, and they're just the two to do it (the Kenny on life support/Terry Shiavo ep is one of my absolute favorites!)! Bravo! :-D

Drat! I was at a house with cable and kept seeing the ads, but had ZERO clue it would have been about Scientology. I would have loved to have seen that.

They are indeed at their very best when they are offending someone! :) I was offended three times at the theater when I saw Bigger, Longer and Uncut. I was so impressed I had to go back. (have you seen Baseketball, BTW?)

Whooo hooo, caught the repeat last night! (LMAO, "Tom Cruise won't come out of the closet!") The only thing I wish is that they used pics for their heads like they did with Mel Gibson cos that's freakin' funny but maybe they really were scared of getting their asses sued (and I wouldn't blame them one bit! ;-p)
