I thought to myself this weekend, I should get some exercise. But I also wanted to purchase a DVD just for the hell of it. So I walked to Best Buy. It's probably a 45-minute walk at most, but I had a slight wine hangover, and it was 85 degrees and dry and sunny. Note to self: do not walk to Best Buy again when hung over, and at 3:00 p.m. when it is freakin' hot in the desert. I nearly passed out when I got home (uphill all the way home, argh).

I bought Naruto season 1. I keep hearing about it and thought, what the heck; if I hate it I can sell it cheaply on E-bay and consider my loss a "rental fee." It's not bad; the character of Naruto himself is one of the most annoying I've ever encountered in anime, and that's unfortunate considering he's the title character. He and others are teenage students in a "ninja training" sort of program. The other teenagers are only slightly less annoying; but the teachers are really cooooool. I find it worth watching if only for the cool adult characters.

The reason I had to watch Naruto this weekend, though, is because even though Rurouni Kenshin discs 9-11 are FIRST on the Netflix list, and Netflix says they are available, they keep sending crap from the bottom of the list. WHY? WHY? Has anyone experienced this, or can explain this?
