Two Things Eeee!
Aug. 3rd, 2012 09:10 amOne: I have an actual start on my 7thnight_smut fic, woo! Like, an outline and about 2000 words written. Go me!
Two: I might be adopting a doggie! My aunt and uncle adopted a Pekingese/Shih-tzu mix puppy a week or so ago, and they wanted to adopt the mother doggie as well, but the rescue people said she is shy of other dogs and would do best in a one-dog home (my aunt and uncle have several dogs). Well, guess who has a currently no-dog home? Me!
Apparently the dogs' owner died and this doggie and her almost-one-year-old pup were found in the back yard, all dirty and scruffy. She is a full Pekingese, about four years old, and apparently she is a real cuddler and lover of people, and it's just pushy dogs who make her nervous (they say she's fine with other dogs that ignore her). She is housebroken and a Very Good Doggie. She is currently in a foster home. I have filled out my application and am waiting to hear back. I think having an adult doggie would be great; she'd be out of that puppy-chewing phase and hopefully won't eat all my books and stuff. :) My mom has promised to look after her during the day, and I suspect she's almost more excited than I am. I'll just drop the doggie off at "Grandma's" house on my way to work, hee.
Wheee!
