WorldCon!!

I'm excited... we just booked our hotel for Worldcon in Anaheim! sharpeslass and I will be there Thursday 8/24 through Sunday 8/27. I haven't been to a Worldcon since Philly in 2001, and I've really been in withdrawal. But hey, this is the first one within driving distance in quite a while!

And sharpeslass's mom is making us REGENCY DRESSES!

WOOHOO!

No, I'll be doing Dragon*Con this year, as with most years. I love WorldCon, but I enjoy Dragon*Con even more, and usually they're either on the same weekend or so close as to be mutually exclusive.

Aww! Well, have fun at D*C! I went to one D*C and it had a fabulous dealer's room and a heck of a lot more media-type guests than a WC, but it was just too... big, I think. WC at 5000 is almost intimate. And I spent too much money in the D*C dealer's room. :)
