Christmas: sharpeslass and I woke up late, ate eggs benedict, drank a bottle of very good champagne (a gift), and opened presents. I got lots of anime stuff 'cause I'm not like in my 30S OR ANYTHING, and Sharpeslass got Shran and Dr. Who stuff. I love having a geeky roommate.

And Yay, I got two lovely Howl's Moving Castle (anime movie!) fics from some wonderful Yuletide authors. One was my "assigned request" to someone, and the other was an extra treat, and I'm thrilled with both:

Yay again! And the two stories I wrote seem to be OK with their recipients. I can't reveal which I wrote until January 1. Though what does it mean when one of my recipients "flails?" Is "flail" a good thing or a bad thing? ;)

Srsly, there are 2000+ stories there. Fandoms you didn't know people wrote fanfiction for. Lion in Winter. Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Lots of Vorkosigan stuff and Discworld stuff. www.yuletidetreasure.org

So, um, out of curiosity, what "Who" stuff was received? (Sorry, I'm in the middle of a major, major Who fixation at the moment!)

I miss you guys and hope to get out there in April again...to have much fun with you all!

Yeah, there are several good LMB stories. Some "small fandoms" are less small than other "small fandoms." ;) We're lucky that a lot of Vorkosigan writers are really good.
