I did do a fair bit of WTF-ing!!! However absolutely nothing comes close on the scale for me as Sanzo in angsty self-destruct mode. Plus the ending was completely gravy - the blood was just extra. LOL

I am SO glad you posted this, it's made my day! (And made my top four fav doujinshi).

Yeah, those are nice! And the nice thing is that the Jelly Baroque djs are newer, and there's a chance they might do more. (I have three; the other isn't as naughty as the two you mentioned but the art is great.) I was trying to decide what my own faves were... Probably, in no order, for Saiyuki:

Gracefl Worms-- Precious Whore/System Error
Benny's-- Go Sun!
Bunny Urasawa-- Gothic 1 & 2
Flow Snow-- ARGH, I love too many to choose! Nekosanbon because it's sweet; Heavenly Heatstroke 'cause it's HOT, Claret Night 1&2-- wonderful art (and it's been scanlated!); Wish-- it's soooo sweet and naughty. Hell, I think I love ALL their djs.

We have several the same! There's some really quality 53 doujinshi out there...

Ooh the thought of more Jelly Baroque is kinda exciting! I've got most of my dj's off the net in various places, since I never know where to look for them. I think I actually found the one I do own on ebay, go figure.

Claret Night sounds familiar, but I don't have it. I wonder it does sound familiar? LOL There is some great stuff out there, I agree. Nothing like settling down for an evening with some hot 53 ;-)

Oh, wow, I've never seen that one anywhere before. It looks interesting. Thank you for showing the cover pic. One of the frustrating things about collecting doujinshi is that it's so hard to know how many books a favourite circle has produced, you know?

I've been working on adding to the Saiyuki section over at the Doujinshi Database Project, maybe it's something you'd be interested in contributing to. Check it out, if you haven't already. You just need to have a bit of patience with the mods at first, until they let you validate your own stuff.

And since we're on the topic, I was shocked recently to see a Gracefl Worms dj sell for $250 on YJA. Holy crap, that's expensive. *_*

Anyway, it's nice of you to do so much scanning work. It's really appreciated. I find I just don't have the patience for that.

I was like "WTF?" when Sanzo shot Gojyo (because he always misses). But Sanzo carrying him on the back is worth it.

Oh, I know... there was a 53/KenrenxKonzen Gracefl Worms dj on YHJ I saw recently... and I bidded but dayum, that puppy went for way more than I had. There are some really aggressive bidders on there! There's a Flow Snow dj I've never been able to buy, also. I just wait... patiently... for it come around again. Hee!

Basically, yeah. I just find it fun, since I'm the type that kinda likes to make lists and stuff. Plus researching all the kanji for titles helps me to learn them.

I know! That happens to me all the time, too. Such an expensive hobby, but so darn addictive. And omg, the price that some of those Benny's/Super baby's books go for is insane, too. People sure are willing to shell out the cash for their porn. ;)

Oh, I know... Benny's is hardcore, too, which I think ups their popularity and prices. ;) I do actually like a lot of their stuff. Though have you seen those Benny's "What's the Fuck" Saiyuki djs? HOLY CRAP. I've read all three of them-- but only briefly (as in I was O__o). And I'm pretty unshockable, heh.

I've been trying to scan stuff that's hard to find. I'm like, I'm desperate to see this stuff, others might be also. :)

What do you have by Gracefl Worms, BTW? Seriously, I'm desperate to know what all they have so that I may track it down. Flow Snow is good about that-- sometimes their DJs come with flyers inside listing everything they have available!

I like Benny's 'cause they do a lot of 93, which is great since that combo of the pairing is my ultimate favourite, and it's harder to find. I haven't yet gotten my hands on one of the "What's the Fuck" books, and I'm actually hesitant as to whether or not I want to! I imagine they're jam packed with all the squickiest of squicks imaginable. I'm not very shockable either, but yeah. Not sure I want to fork out $80 for something really gross. ^^

Gracefl Worms? All I have right now is Paranoiascape and Precious Whore. Um, the only other titles I know of are as follows:

System Error, Overdose, Junking Auction, Honey Maple, Locus, That 53 one (is it called ID?), Eyeahes, Learn the Number Seven, the Extra one you just told me about, and... I think there's an extra for Overdose, too. It's a copybook, the one that went for $250.

Oh, thanks for the list! I have some of those... I was planning to scan Eyeahes sometime. I've seen Overdose for auction (lost it) but not the copybook-- wow, what a price for a copybook! And Locus is another Ken/Kon book, right? I saw it somewhere but didn't buy it (and regretted it). The other Ken/Kon one I bid on, I can't remember what it's called, but it was another of those 200,000-plus-yen auctions, argh. I haven't seen ID!!

And the art is really nice too..not the traditional Sanzo and Gojyo kind, but their own style..which I love all the more. Doujinshi, to my mind, should be more personal anyway, and not totally in Minekura-style.
I remember you talking of that for quite some time now..neither you nor me has found that uploaded and official version of it anymore, right? So I was glad when I noticed you had scanned it in the end^.^ Thank you very much for sharing it here!^^

Gothic 1 and 2 are two longish dj by Bunny Urasawa... definitely NC-17. I think ditch_gospel has one for sale here:

The first one is pre-journey, and it's pretty much non-conish (or very, very dubcon), with Gojyo beating the crap outta Sanzo, having sex with him and having flashbacks to his messed-up childhood. In the second Gothic it's Sanzo having flashbacks to being Kouryuu and being mishandled by the monks (very graphic), while having rather more consensual sex with Gojyo, who apparently is trying to help Sanzo overcome his sexual issues. Great stuff. ;)
