Studio Ghibli & Miyazaki's prettiest-ever man, and yeah, I fell in love with this movie so hard. Howl is such a sweet goober-- if a little spoiled-- that I cannot resist him. He's a wizard, too, with changing hair-color, a fire demon and a flying castle-- how handy, right? Though I might have to hide my cosmetics from him. Now, this is Movie!Howl that I would marry. Book!Howl (from Diana Wynne Jones's book), I would cliff in an instant.

In real life I would so want to kill Sanzo, angsty, cranky Buddhist monk that he is, but in pretend-land? He makes me faint with girlish woobliness and hormones. I shiver with lust at every asshole-ish sentence that falls from his nasty, gorgeous lips. I mean, look at him. Mrowr. The super-cool outfit doesn't hurt.

Now, don't get me wrong-- Jack has his charms, and he's pretty hot. The boots and poofy shirts don't hurt. But he's a two-timing twerp I couldn't trust as far as I could throw him, unless it was off the cliff. Don't worry-- he'd survive. :) (Now Will Turner? Different story, maybe.)

I completely agree to your choice! Howl is really the prettiest bishie from Studio Ghibli (and probably the only one). They even gave us a little fan-service moment of him with just a towel on his hips which finally (oh, yes ♥) falls down. And he's the only one of those three who's kinda suitable for cohabitation or marriage.

I'm not familiar with Howl's Moving Castle, but damn I've heard so much about it over the years! I think one day soon I will try it and see what all the squee is about. :D
