Anime and stuffs

I'm so glad to get back into media, sometimes. Two cool new things:

1. Hetalia is going to be serialized in a monthly magazine!! Up until now it's been published as a webcomic, with the comics loosely collected and updated into tankoubon. But a serialized manga! I wonder what form it will take. Himaruya's art has definitely been improving.

2. I've watched the first five episodes of Tiger & Bunny, and OMG that is the most fun show I've seen in a long time. My buddy Shane is watching it with me 'cause he likes superheroes, and we giggle like idiots all the way through. I look forward to the more serious stuff, too. What great characters! And how long did it take me to figure out the seiyu for Gojyo was doing Kotetsu? Until the second episode, heh.

And after I watch some more I will read your fics, 7veilsphaedra! I don't mind spoilers but I do hate not knowing what the heck's going on in a fic. ♥

Pretty good. Spent a half hour at the post office getting my passport sorted out. With luck it will be approved and i'll go about my business. LOL. If not...I guess i'll be going to DC for my birthday instead! lmao!

And i'd MISS those updates so bad. I hope he gets to do both, but i'm really really interested to see if he makes some awesome long term storylines with the hetalia charries.

Do you know what's happening with the US license for the tankoubon now that TokyoPop's not publishing anymore? Ally hasn't said anything about it, but I saw speculation that it was one that other companies would be interested in bidding on because it's so popular and the manga's just at the beginning.

I don't know yet, but I'm sure someone will pick up Hetalia, 'cause it's still pretty huge. Here's hoping, anyway.

The Hetalia characters are so cute, and there's so much good fanart. Pandawolf does a lot of USxUK picspams, although I think she likes them in the opposite order from the way you like them.

Saw my name, and dropped in for a peek. I'm glad you like T&B right off the start like that. It actually took me a while before I warmed up. Your intuition about not reading beyond your current episode is a good one as some key plot developments will be definitely spoiled. In the case of my little drabbles and ficlets, because I'm writing speculatively and 'off the top of my head', it would just confuse you in any case. But thanks for mentioning them.

I just got into this show a week or so ago, and managed to cram all 22 episodes into about a 4 or 5 day window. I just couldn't stop watching! And unfortunately, now the wait for new episodes is soooooo long! :(

Also - don't spoil yourself! A lot of the plot twists are easy to see coming, but they're still a lot of fun to see. I got spoiled by the stupid official episode descriptions on hulu. I hate that!

And Gojyo as Kotetsu is the best! I'm so glad that Hirata is doing a leading role instead of one character as part of a group cast like Gojyo or Sanji from One Piece. :)

I love the voice for Gojyo and recognized him right away. LOVE it. I have only watched a few episodes. Plan on watching more with hubby when we get done with Full Metal Panic. :)

I can't wait to watch some more. Shane has promised to come over Friday and watch a bunch with me. It's taking everything in me to not watch without him, I swear, 'cause it's so much fun. But I hear it's still running, and if I go through them too quickly then I'll be waiting alongside everyone else!
