Busted!

Ah, my fannish tendencies will get me in trouble. I was busted by my boss at work today.

I have a DVD player/burner on my computer. What a nice boss I have! Well, I've had it for months and have behaved very nicely, using it exclusively for work, burning data CDs and the like.

Well today he had a meeting outside the office at 2:00 p.m., so at 2:05 I popped in Hornblower "Retribution" for to screen-cap the hell out of it. At 2:15 he walks behind my desk and says, "what's that?" I cannot tell a lie. I say I am screen-capping Hornblower.

He sighed and returned to his office. I went to apologize but he just laughed it off. I suppose since I actually just received 300 copies of the latest book we're publishing (sent to the printer last week) and I had only this morning UPS'ed out 40 purchased copies I had the proof of work completed at some point during the day.
