jedishampooSo here is my doggie, whom I have called Fuu!
I drove 2-1/2 hours to get her last night from the home where she was fostered, in Louisville, Kentucky. (Oh, man, that house ... so many dogs, so much mess, and Fuu was in a laundry room because the other dogs stressed her out. I'd be stressed, too. Though the foster lady was very nice, of course. She must do this a lot.)
Anyway, the whole drive home and all last night, she was a perfect angel. So sweet, so happy to meet people, so happy to check out my house, and she has only gone potty outside so far! When I went to bed I put her bed next to mine, and I could tell she was waiting for me to pick her up and put her on my bed and when I didn't, she just laid down and went to sleep like a good girl. And she was so excited when my alarm went off this morning, hee.
I am scared to death, because it's been so long since I've had such responsibility for anything other than myself, d'oh! I wasn't expecting to be so frightened. But she went quietly in the carrier this morning for the drive to grandma's (my mom's house) and mom says she's been very good there, as well.
She is scratching and licking a lot, though, and I'm wondering if the fleas she had when they found her, supposedly gotten rid of, are either still bothering her, or if she has some allergy. Anyway, she has a vet visit Thursday night. She's going to get a bath soon, too. Lucky doggie! Heh.

Date: 2012-08-08 09:28 pm (UTC)My kitty turned out to be a little sicky, so I've racked up thousands and thousands of dollars in vet bills in the 4 years I've had her. It's really saved my cookies.
