Hometown Bound
Aug. 10th, 2005 10:02 am'Allo all... just a note to say I'm headed for humidity central-- AKA Indianapolis, Indiana-- tomorrow for a few days. Yeah, I know, I'm going a weekend earlier than CJ and JC will be there. I'm so smart, I moved to Las Vegas mere weeks before Celebration II, and I've been off in my timing ever since.
My parents' house has the worst computer ever, a Packard-Bell Pentium One that I bought in 1996-- and the slowest connection possible, so I will be jonesing for a speedy connection to the outside world. And I haven't finished any of the stories (including a ::ahem:: Mace Windu slash for a challenge, how the heck am I supposed to write that?) which I'd hoped to have written and posted before I left. Oh well. I'll be in the company of evil overlord ARCO and he's a goldmine of dark genius and creativity. I plan to buy the wine. Maybe I can talk him into drawing more Jedi for my Christmas cards again this year.
I sure hope ROTS is still playing in Indy. It would be nice to see it with all my old friends. And all their new boyfriends/husbands/whatever. You see, apparently Indianapolis is a goldmine of dateable men and I never knew it.
Have a lovely weekend, all! :)

Date: 2005-08-10 10:10 pm (UTC)Yeah, that's what I get for signing up for a random character-generated fic challenge. Sigh. Oh well, it stretches us as writers, right?
Hornblower and Bush spent two days and nights splurging their entire prize (100 lbs each) in Kingston. My, my... I'm really surprised that such an event has not inspired a fic from you. ; )
Ah, but I did write Drinking Portsmouth Dry, at least, which was able to involve Arche! ;) Though Mr. Bush is indeed teh hottness as well. And I'm pretty sure Kingston's been done, both slash and het. Still, you know, there's always time to write in future! Bwah hah hah!
Glad you're liking the Hornblower books. You'll have to let me know what you think after Beat To Quarters, mmmm. :)
