Yup, I'm back from my vacation to the wilds of Indianapolis. Very green there. Very humid. Very rainy. Very fast, very dangerous. Very much fun visiting my old high school buddies, and much sad to leave them. It turns out the eligible Indiana men aren't all they were cracked up to be in my absence; same story, same icky breakups, different dudes.

Yeah, I know lots of you are at Gencon now enjoying the green and the humidity and the fast and dangerous. Hope you're having fun, biatches! No, really! ;) Please have a Mustafar Meltdown for me. Or maybe even a YOW. And a safe trip there and home.

So 100 icons now, 'eh? Bwah hah! I shall spend tomorrow making icons! Please, does anyone know where I can get some good screencaps of Disney movies, especially Beauty and the Beast, or Ranma 1/2, specifically Ryoga or P-Chan? Also seeking snarky Potter icons. In reading HBP I remember looking at a line and thinking, I am so iconizing that. Now I can't remember what it was. :(

I am so finishing my first challenge fanfic tomorrow. There was no writing or e-mailing on my parents' ultra-slow computer.

Oh, it's nothing exciting, unless you're into corn or auto racing or humidity. :)

Me, I've never been off the continent! I can say I've been to Canada (Montreal) and Mexico (Nogales) but that's as far as I've gone. Would love to see the rest of the world someday.

Yeah, that Brickyard 400 does rock! It's a great race with lots of well known stars having a heckuva good time! Tony Stewart did an amazing job winning it this year - just ahead of the guy I had my money on - Kasey Kahne :)

Unfortunately, Tony George (owner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway), has ruined open-wheel racing... so the indy 500 with noname drivers and the formula one grand prix (with 6 cars) suck.

If you're going to Canada (Montreal) or Mexico (Mexico City) ... they have excellent car races there too... as do Las Vegas, Long Beach, Portland, San Jose, Edmonton, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Toronto, Denver, Queensland Australia, in the future a downtown-Vegas streetrace, Houston, Ansan Korea, and many others. That's the Champ Car World Series... formerly "IndyCar", the best open-wheel racing in the world. No inbreds, no dumbed-down cars, and ... lots of high speed racing!

'allo Dear! Lovely to hear from you! Yay, beellegee on Livejournal! I was going to reply to your e-mail but still catching up. :) Well, the story I finally finished today was for a slash challenge, though it ended up being completely G-rated because it was for a character I don't usually write and I couldn't slash him. But if you're game... ;)

The rest is Harry Potter Snape genfic or SW genfic or ::ahem:: Obi-Wan/Anakin slash. Yes, I have somewhat fallen to the slash side. Quick! Must write some Obi-Wan het! Help!
