I saw the eye doctor yesterday. Yup, turns out my cataracts have gotten worse in the past year, and they are the reason I can't see in the dark and am blinded when headlights are coming at me. I'm really young for cataracts, but my dad had cataract surgery when he was only 39, so it's obviously a hereditary thing.

The good news is that once I have the surgery, I may not have to wear glasses or contacts again! I'm nearsighted as all get-out and have been my whole life, so that would be kind of awesome. The bad news is that I'll have to pay at least $3000 (my insurance deductible) and maybe more, if I get the highest-quality lenses they have put into my eyes. Pay it with what? HAHAHAH! My house has all my money right now, thank you. But I shall work it out. It'll be worth it to have eyes that work correctly. :)

Anyway, I go in for my consultation with the surgeon in two weeks. And? It's the same surgeon that did my dad's AND my mom's cataract surgeries. Keepin' it in the family!
