I went to Ulta today -- I took my mom so she could get her hair done -- and asked for a recommendation on eye makeup remover. I've been using Clinique, but it requires a bit of rubbing to get the makeup off and I hate rubbing my eyes. So the gal recommended Philosophy brand Release Me, and OMG it's sooo fabulous. A gentle swipe over my eyes with that stuff is all that's required to get makeup off. (And I wear mascara, eye shadow, eye liner, the whole shebang.) And it wasn't too expensive -- maybe $18?
And I wanted eye cream. I could never use traditional eye cream 'cause I get those bumps under my eyes, and then I'd have to go on a month of exfoliation to get them gone. But lately that's caused all the skin under my eyes to be dry and lined and DO NOT WANT. So the gal recommended Mario Badescu hydro-something eye cream and I love it so far, too! My eyes look better already, it's all natural, not too expensive, and it's been promised that it will not cause undereye bumps. WOOO!
So! Those are my cosmetic recommendations for the day. ♥
Of course I also made out with some eye shadow, some lotion and some Butter London nail polish: http://www.butterlondon.com/catalog/55/spring-summer-2012-collection I got "Knackered," third one down (and a couple more in a two-pack, pink and pink glitter). Holy moley, that stuff's $15 a polish but it's non-toxic, and I had a 20% coupon for Ulta. Heh heh heh.
