Our landlord company just called. The owner of the house we've (me and sharpeslass) have been renting for the last two years wants to move in when our lease is up. At the end of October.

I don't want to move. I love that house. I just rearranged things on the walls, for f**ks sake.

Sigh. Weep. I hate crying at work.

Yup, and the housing market out here is insane. I bet it's the same in southern Arizona! Here they want $330,000 for a house like the one we're renting. Argh!

Ok, that really, really sucks. Especially because I was really looking forward to revisiting the Pirate Grotto.

But, despite the upheval, try to remain calm and take things one day at a time. Do you guys have a realtor you can work with that might be able to find you something in the same area/same price range? I know it sucks to think about moving, but you could find someplace you love just as much.

I know I'm in Ohio, but if there's anything I can do, let me know. If I didn't have two more years to go, I'd be back out with you guys, you know that!

And check with Jim, he might have some good contacts or ideas about who or what to do as well. I so wish I was out there with you both to provide moral support, but I'm here via LJ, email and phone. Call me if you need to vent, weep, expound on your anger, etc.

The Pirate Grotto will live, we swear it. :) Thanks for your moral support, honey. Oh well. Guess we'll just have to look forward to redecorating. Except it took us a year just to get everything unpacked! Argh! :) Hugs sweets.

I wish you the best. I know exactly what you're feeling. I've had a landlord do that to me before. (They think nothing of throwing you out onto the streets.) Maybe you'll find another place you like even better though. Maybe with a compassionate landlord too!
