Post-Holiday Droop!

You'd think that after I spent my four-day weekend (Sat. to Tuesday) sleeping and sitting around the house and eating and drinking champagne and eating, that I would have been relaxed to go back to work. Yet all day today I could hardly stay awake. Yawn!

My roomie gots me the Samurai Champloo DVD set so I can watch it again. Yay! And tonight we get the last disk of Fullmetal Alchemist and tomorrow the movie from Netflix, so OMG I can't wait to see what happens.

Just in time, 'cause Friday I leave for Indianapolis for an ENTIRE WEEK. My boss was shocked at the fact that I actually took a WHOLE WEEK off. I'm looking forward to seeing people, and laying around eating and watching DVDs some more.

Hope everyone had a lovely holiday weekend as well.

Nothing like a good stretch of sloth to make it really hard to actually do anything when you return to the world.

I have been totally uninspired these past two days. And today and tomorrow aren't looking very good, either!

Now that sounds like you had an ideal holiday! The way holidays are supposed to be--not all this crazy, stressful shit! My Xmas was so nice and peaceful and carefree this year, it hardly seemed like Xmas at all! Here's to schlepping! *raises glass in toast*
