Silly Target Bragging

I went to Target last night. And I only spent $24.16. That's right, $24.16. I can scan the receipt if anyone wants proof. I went for Liquid Plumr and only bought a couple of extra things (Seattle's Best coffee was on sale-- what was I supposed to do?). But really, until now, I didn't think it was possible to leave Target without spending $40 at the very minimum.

Ok, kiddo, now you're ready for the Big Test: Go to Costco, or Sam's Club, or BJ's, or your local warehouse club of choice, & do the same thing!! (It's not a feat I've ever managed. I always wind up with a 20-pound vat of laundry detergent, or a tray of 24 blueberry muffins, or 2000 ibuprofen tablets.)

Noooooo! I'm not ready for the big leagues. I don't have any warehouse memberships. I can throw myself in debt quite easily enough without those, with, y'know, Borders and Best Buy, without even counting online buying. lexsara brought her Costco membership card out here to LV once, and I entered the store and realized I could NEVER go back. :)

Wal-Mart truly frightens me with their big, scary stores and low prices. I don't even go, unless what I need can be found absolutely nowhere else. ;)

My Target (I pronounce it Tar-Jay, BTW) minimum is way higher then that! I go to their 50 and 75% off racks and am lost... I have two Issac Mizrahi-however that is spelled- suits that I've gotten at 75% off!
