Question for others who Netflix-- when it says "very long wait," and it's already been three weeks, what does that mean? The disc is probably broken or lost, and I should just give up on waiting? This is a series where both the discs directly before and after the very-long-wait-disc are available now.

[livejournal.com profile] sharpeslass has been kind enough to get me my anime fix on a regular basis by Netflixing series that cost wayy too much to buy, and which aren't available at Blockbuster. I was in the middle of a great story arc (Kyoto arc) on Rurouni Kenshin, and the discs stopped coming, weeks ago. I figure it's not ever going to come, 'cause why else would EVERY OTHER DISC in the series be available? Argh.

I'm deciding next whether I want to try Trinity:Blood, Bleach, or season 2 of Naruto.

On the upside and off-topic, apparently my brother is eating more healthily, though still smoking, and so therefore my mom and dad are eating healthily by default. Go Team Venture!

I've never watched Naruto, but I have seen Trinity: Blood and Bleach--and I'd definitely go with Bleach. Trinity: Blood was just...mind-numbingly boring and slow-paced. Bleach is fun to watch and is a typical shonen anime. The farther you get into the story, the more interesting it gets. (Sadly, I do not have a Bleach icon, so an FMA one will have to do).

Yeah, it sounds like a broken disc. If you look at the comments/reviews of that series on Netflix, there might be some from users complaining that Netflix hasn't replaced the broken disc -- that's how I figured out that I needed to download Series 2 of Doctor Who if I wanted to get it this century.
