Whew, I haven't updated in a bit!

Lessee... got an A in Japanese, hooray! Turned another year older. Too much older. But at least we made our traditional trip-- I've been to Quark's Bar in the Hilton for my birthday every year since I moved to Las Vegas in 2002-- that's a tradition, right?

Also tradition is the getting way too drunk and being sick. I had an old-school hangover after this outing, and after I'd been so careful this past year, trying to avoid those hangovers. But really, the drinks at Quark's are so tasty and so STRONG, that after one, all you want is another. I had a Warp Core Breach, a Chaotica's Death Ray, and at least two Liquid Latinums; after that, I don't remember. Thankfully we had a designated driver-- thanks, JIM! It's just too bad

Apparently a fight at Quark's was imminent but Jim scooted us out five minutes before closing. (Do what the sober person says.) I hear they're closing Quark's. That's been a rumor for-like-ever but really, there are no new Star Trek shows to keep everything alive since the death of "Enterprise." There will be a giant ST convention at the Hilton in August, so at least I know it'll be busy then.
