Relaxing Saturday, yeah, right. I've signed up for many fanfic exchanges. In different fandoms. For all of them I've been assigned stories which are not for my usual characters/pairings. I would ask for help but these are supposed to be secret. ;) Heck, at least I'm writing. Mine and [livejournal.com profile] sharpeslass's moms keep sending us publishing handbooks and asking when we're going to write for real. Why? We do that for our job, yawn.

Woohoo, [livejournal.com profile] sharpeslass and my stories are on the [livejournal.com profile] yuletide stories of the day, today. If anyone wants to read Lion in Winter slash, check out [livejournal.com profile] sharpeslass's story about Richard and Philip. Poor girl doesn't like writing the slash, but I think she did a good job.

She's currently writing a Weyoun (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) story. To keep us going she made experimental "kava-nut and rippleberry" muffins. They actually contain dragonfruit and Chilean hazelnuts from Trader Joe's. Not bad. She's also made hasperrat (another Deep Space Nine food item). I think she should write her own science fiction cookbook. That would be fun and she could sell it. With correct copyright permissions, of course.

Back to work! Hugs to [livejournal.com profile] slyvermont.

LOL. "Lion in Winter" fanfic! Who'd have thunk it?

I'll check it out, as it is one of my favorite movies of all time. English history and all that. And the Slash was inherent in the original movie, so it wasn't a stretch to add to it. I mean that in the best sense.

There were four Lion in Winter fanfics at Yuletide this year... the others were more tame, I think. ;) Her requester wanted smut, I think.
