1. I forgot to make my car payment this month. It was due the 4th. My CAR PAYMENT. I haven't missed paying a bill in... oh... 10 years or more? And I forget the car payment. Crapola. And I have 0% interest. Can they raise my interest rate? ::whimper::

2. You ever start writing a story and you're really enjoying writing it but then you take a couple days off, and then take it back up again and start reading what you'd already written and think, OMG it sucks, what's the point, how the hell am I gonna make this story good? Sigh. Where does the initial mindset go?

So everyone reading at 7thnight_smut? Some good stuff there! I still haven't finished a couple of the longer ones. :)

#2 - I know this feeling, and it's horrid. I'm having a bit of trouble with my latest, actually, for similar reasons. In a way it's nice to know I'm not the only one, but ugh. I usually try to immerse myself in the story - switch off all other distractions, get a good writing soundtrack going, and re-read it a few times until I'm in the right mindset. Then I can usually plunge back in and begin editing, or finishing, or both. :) Good luck with your story, dear! I have faith in you!

Ugh, I've delayed a payment or two on my card before. It happens when I pile stuff on top of my mail and it gets forgotten. To be honest I never paid attention to the interest rate since it doesn't affect me either way. I'd check your car loan contract to see if the terms call for interest changes for missed/delayed payment.

I need to have them automatically withdraw it or something. I pay all my bills online, anymore, twice a month. I can't remember to write a CHECK! :)

Sometimes, the folks at the company can be really understanding. Once, I realized that I hadn't gotten my credit card bill. I called the company (it was over one week overdue at this point) and said, "Oh my gosh, I really have never missed a payment.... etc" He checked my records and agreed. They gave me a pass and took off the fees and interest that time.

A month later, I found the bill behind my desk. I *HAD* messed up, but they gave me the benefit of the doubt because I had been so good for so long. You might try something like that.

1. you are allowed to forget. Everyone forgets something once lol like everyone misses something once XD If you show good will I can't imagine that they will turn that into such a major problem.

2. you should just keep writing then. Finish it...and maybe edit the beginning then. I think there are various methods how to deal with this feeling, I hope you will find the right one for you.

1. Of course it couldn't be something little like the phone bill or something. :P They'll probably be nice if you've been so responsible.

2. I get that feeling all the time with drawings. I think I only "finish" about 10% of all the pictures I start because I go back and I'm all like "Eew! Did I draw that with my eyes closed?"

1) I hope so!
2) I try to finish everything, but I have like six or seven (in various fandoms) unfinished stories sitting on my hard-drive. Sometimes when I'm writing something new I'll rape them for a part that I liked. Ever do that with pics? "Oooh, I like the hands here. Think I'll copy them." ;)
3) I might have a couple more to read at 7thnight; I think overall, though, I did pretty well in reading and sending luv to the authors. Lots of people got around to seeing them, yay!
