This one was ganked from the lovely [livejournal.com profile] caeseria! Six icons here.

DIRECTIONS:
* reply to this post with the word MEME ME! and I will pick six of your icons.
* make a post (including this info) and talk about the icons I chose.
* other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
* this will create a never ending cycle of icon glee.

[livejournal.com profile] caeseria chose these:

This one combines two of my fandoms: Harry Potter and Star Wars. I thought it was clever so I stole it. It's pretty much the only Potter-relevant icon I have, too. I must not be tru-potter-fan. :(

BLOO! Isn't he the cutest thing ever? He's from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, one of the cleverest Cartoon Network cartoons. Bloo is the naughty, clever and saucy imaginary friend of Mac, a little boy who works at Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, a house run by an old lady for those who've been abandoned by the children who created them. He's dancing here and is appropriate for super-excited-happy posts and comments.

Gojyo/Sanzo Saiyubito: A cute little Minekura cartoon from the Saiyuki Saiyuubito guide. My favorite pairing from Saiyuki, of course, 'cause it's the best. ;) I scanned and colored in bits of it, crappily, by myself and made an icon to showcase my utter fail at Photoshop. :)

Nasty Pointy Teeth! This is Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, warning of the deadly bunny rabbit awaiting those who seek the grail. I have, for the longest time, had this HUGE crush on John Cleese. I wuv him. He's tall and funny.

I had to have this icon, because it made me realize that I was not alone in the world. That though I'd played Kingdom Hearts 2 and had all my levels as high as they could go, and though I'd given it many a try, Sephiroth whooped my ass every time I approached him, usually within 30 seconds after I'd approached him. Why? All I wanted to do was tell him that I knew where Cloud was. I still haven't succeeded in killing this dude, though I had him down to half-power once. :(

Abs and Boots! Hotness from our Revenge of the Sith Jedi, Obi-Wan and Anakin, in their final epic battle before Anakin becomes crispy critter. The quote is from a brilliant, uncredited Wanton (one of my Obi-Wan-fangals); the actual quote in the movie is "Only Jedi deal in absolutes," but given Anakin's fantastic six-pack when he's shirtless, and the power of sexy Jedi boots, abs and boots makes perfect sense.

I'm trying to remember if I knew you were into HP fandom... but I can't seem to locate the knowledge. *g* I had no idea! We must talk HP ships at some point.

Also, the second icon of bloo is mesmerising. I was staring at it for ages. *g*

I've always loved that Accio Charm one, but the Bloo one is a little frightening.

And since I just recently got some icon space (and I can't resist anyway)...meme me! :D

YAY, icon space! Okay... Skwisgaar and Toki, And tell us about Zakuro, and, oh, I gotta know what's up with Emile Hirsch and the chicken (LOL), the Rebecca icon, and 5/3 cigarette (NOM) and Chin Yisou hugs! (I really like the Sealed icon, with the monkey, but I think you'd already explained that one!)

Bloo is frightening, especially when he's not on your side, and sometimes when he is. He's so naughty, I luff him.

I love Bloo! I never got a plushie Bloo, either... wonder if they still make them.

My HP ships were so boring. Basically Snape/anyone who was female with the exception of Hermione; a little Lupin/Sirius of course OMG they were so married, and.... don't shoot me.... I sekritly liked me a little Harry/Hermione. I was so bored by Harry/Ginny and Hermione/Ron, though of course I knew they'd become canon. I was supportful of my friend Sara's love for Draco/Hermione.

I never wrote or read much in HP-verse, though, 'cause there was so much! And I just read the books over and over. I ended up writing couple for Melinda; a Lupin/Trelawney het and a Snape/Rosemerta gen. Hee! What were your 'ships?

Ooh, you know... >.> I quite liked Snape/Hermione. It was one of the het ships I could get with. I also loved Snape/Lily (why do I always type Sanzo when I mean to type Snape? :O).

I was mostly about the slash, though--James/Sirius was my favourite, although I also liked Snape/Sirius, and Ron/Draco. Plus a whole host of others. *g* I think I must have written over 100 stories for HP... oh my word. :)

Ha, almost completely different 'ships! I was never passionate about any of them in Potterverse; I just dabbled. Snape/Lily was good, so tragic and passionate! Like you, my friend Sara also loved Snape/Hermione, and I had to beta several Snape/Hermione fics, all the while telling her "nooooo!" But I did that to her with her Obi-Wan/Padme stories, and Hook/Wendy, too, so she was used to my crap and took it with the required grain of salt. Heh. Actually, I think the only 'ship we ever agreed on was Obi-Wan/Anakin.

And y'know, a capital "S" just calls for "anzo" afterwards. Num.

Yey you finally got it done!! *hugs you*

HP/SW..someone needs to write that. Although I probably just need to go find it, since it's probably been done ;-) Jedi boots are the best aren't they? My friend Cara has a huge hard-on for Obi-wan's boots, it's hysterical.

I had wondered where Bloo came from so now I know ;-)

Python - that is one of the funniest scenes in any film I've ever watched. Being English I almost quote the whole thing verbatim of course, but the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch speech wins hands down.

And I'm glad I'm not the only person to get annoyed with games. I can't count the number of times during my first couple of playings of KOTOR I & II that I got annoyed and went off to find the cheat codes to beat the pants off the dude at the end. After numerous run-throughs I finally did it by myself. So, apart from being dead hot, Sephiroth is just a pain in the ass then? LOL

And one last thing since I'm on a ramble...DOUJINSHI SCANNING FOR THE WIN!!!

LOL, I remember [livejournal.com profile] sharpeslass had to hear me screaming and groaning in the next room every time Sephiroth defeated me. Finally she had to come over to watch me try. Her first words were, "he's kinda hot." I was like, yeah, but he's gonna kill me again I just know it! Actually, the one time she watched was the best I ever did. I don't think I could convince her to stick around for luck while I tried again, though.

I never played KOTOR... I gave up on most Star Wars games, I must admit, because they were usually horrible and difficult in stupid ways. But I was basing that off the SNES games and the first couple of N64/PS games. (Though Lego Star Wars Trilogy was pretty fun-- and easy, since you could never really die!)

There was one game I had years ago where I just couldn't beat the final boss. I think it was Neverwinter Nights. Narked me off something rotten, still does. And I had maxed out my levels and everything.

I liked KOTOR because there wasn't too many overly stupid things you had to solve, and it was fairly linear in that you didn't have to keep running around between too many planets like on some games. Plus I wanted to kick ass on the dark side too which was very motivating ;-)

I've got no idea what it's like to play any of them on a console though - I'm a PC gamer through and through ;-)

(And it's gotta really suck to get killed over and over by a hot pretty guy. I can sympathise with you on that!)
