Holy crap, it will not stop snowing here. In Las Vegas. kansouame, snow-bringer, is gone and yet it is still snowing.

There is no salt for the roads here. And not everyone knows how to drive in this stuff. I don't want to drive home in rush-hour traffic.

And people here at work are excited. They're all like, "it's so pretty."

Crazies! ;)

OK, so it wasn't really kansouame's fault (miss you, dearie!) And moshesque, I had no idea your lovely icon here would be so useful already!

It is pretty! I love snow!

Of course, I've never had to deal much with it, but it makes me happy :)

Traffic was fairly normal on my way home and except for going a little slow, not bad. I just spoke to my mom who just went to work and she said people were driving ok too. At least we don't have people who think they know how to drive in the snow and don't--everyone's being extra careful :)

I lived in it in Indiana winters for 31 years, driving for 15, and that was plenty. ;)

Glad to hear traffic is being careful... I'm still not getting on the I-15 to go home, like usual. It's elevated and full of crazy people!

There's nothing worse than people who have no idea how to drive in snow/rain - i.e. 99% of the people in Tucson! :D

Dayum, there's a hell of a lot of snow. I feel so sorry for all our poor palm trees and even our oleander-- they're so bent over! I brushed off the rosemary to give it a fighting chance. :(

We had some rain, and that was nice, but I hope it snows when I go to Prescott - I haven't seen snow in a long time!

I hope you guys make it home okay!!! We are due for 20-30cms on friday and a blizzard, and then another 10 on sunday which is going to suck the proverbial bag. I am holding out for a snowday on friday ;-)

I hear the snow you got yesterday (it actually made our news this morning, Vegas looked very pretty with a bunch of snow) is the same storm due to hit us tomorrow with 20 cms. You'll be the one laughing at me now...!

Eek, it took me an hour and a half to do the 40-minute drive! Oh well, home safe and warm and looking out the window every few minutes to marvel at the white stuff in desert-land! I'm in the minority but I hope it melts by tomorrow morning.

Sigh, it never fails does it? I don't worry about myself in the snow, I grew up doing it, but it's the idiots around me that scare me. Still, I bet I know what's leading all the newscasts tonight!

Wow, I'm so happy for you that you're getting snow! Though I hear you on not wanting to drive in the stuff--that's the only thing about this time of year that really scares me. But still, yay! :D Enjoy it. We tend to only get a bit of sludge here in the UK. *g*

Hee, I lived in a snowy-winter place for 30 years, and now I want sun! I'm afraid all my plants will die... the poor palm trees, I was out last night brushing them off with a broom. It was sorta cool to look at, though, seeing snow where there usually isn't.
