What the heck is "corporeal punishment?" Someone's spell-fail is showing.

(EDIT: LJ obviously changed it to the proper "corporal"-- probably had the person who originated it weeping over the snark. It said "corporeal punishment" all morning.)

One clever answer I saw from user mamadar: I think corporeal beings should be punished by corporeal beings, and incorporeal beings by incorporeal beings.

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday!

Haha, I know-- and the spelling was changed several hours later. There must have been much snark. :)

I hope you are well!

**smirks**

Sometimes, I don't know whether to laugh or bash my head against a wall when I see spelling fail. (Our local newspaper is horrible for it - and in the headlines, no less... :P )

Brilliant answer, though! ♥

My Sunday's ok...I'm at work, but it's quiet, so I guess that beats a busy weekday. ~_^

Oh, spelling fail is best when it's spell-check fail... 'cause you can get some really bizarre results.

::hugs:: I guess quiet at work is not bad at all! It's nice to be at work and yet relax, once in a while.

I thought I saw a typo in there. *snerk* This is what we use beta readers for, folks.

I absolutely adore that icon, I always have. Another one that drives me mad is when someone has somebody being "chocked to death" or "chocking on their food." Excuse me? Some kind of dock accident, was it?

Haha, it was changed-- hours later! There must have been many very clever replies to that one.

That icon is hysterical, I agree!

Did you see Chorus of Chaos' answer: depends on whether it is a poltergeist or a quieter haunt... (paraphrase). Yeah. Well...

The incorporeal punishment?

I'm not counting that as a pun, by the way. ::raspberries at you::

Me being extremely slow on the uptake, had to stare at the sentence for a really long time before registering.

Mannn, that is fail! (Myself, and the person in question ,of course. XD)

It took LJ a while, but eventually-- hours later-- they changed the word to the more appropriate "corporal" punishment. Still, it was a pretty silly question, read that way! When written properly, it's not funny very much at all. ::hugs::
