Merry Christmas!

Hey y'all! Merry Christmas, or if you don't celebrate that, have an awesome, happy December 25. :)
Thanks for the cards, those who sent them! They brightened my evenings when I dragged home from work. In the dark and the cold.
Wow. This is my first Christmas in eight years with my family in Hoosierland, 'cause I was in Las Vegas for eight years. My dad is thrilled. He was so thrilled that he sent me with his credit card to the Thai restaurant to pick up a nice, traditional Thai Christmas Eve dinner for everyone here. (Somehow I've gotten my father hooked on Thai food.) So we're having satay, curry, and padd Thai, with Christmas cookies for dessert.
Christmas eve dinners with
sharpeslass were even more traditional: since it was her birthday, we'd head out to a local bar for an evening on me of food, drink, and video poker. I do miss it. Happy birthday, M!
Now I think I'll go do something even more traditional: read fanfic. Woooot!

Date: 2010-12-28 02:47 am (UTC)Mmm, Thai food on Christmas - sounds awesome! My family usually makes vegetarian lasagna. (My dad is a vegetarian, and I don't like turkey or ham. So that just leaves my mom and sister and it's not exactly worth it to make a whole turkey just for two!)
