HOLY MOLEY we have a lot of snow. Okay, maybe five inches. Not as much as many people, I know, but this is a lot for me. It just won't stop snowing and making my commute horrible... Edit: another f-lister just posted about the eighteen inches they've received. I'm so ashamed!

I've lost three of the pounds I gained over the holidays, yay!

Oh, and IF there's anybody who still cares and who didn't already Google any song lyrics that were driving them nuts, I posted the answers to the song meme. :)

Hey, if we got 5 inches of snow out here, it'd be the freaking apocalypse! So 5 inches sounds like a lot to me and 18? That's just ridiculous.

Huzzah for 3 lbs! That's totally goal and then some, and you with a cold. Who's a badass? YOU ARE! HIGH-FIVE! o/

You peoples in your places without snow. Sheeoot, I wish I was still one of ya. ;) And YAY. I've been soooo tempted to be bad today. 'Cause I was cranky. But I've held off. ::puts on angel wings::

I'm awful because I like my not-snow. I can't help it.

Oooh, check you out, your bad self with your angel wings!

*sniffle* I had to dig my car out again. This is the third time this year and I don't know how many more times my back can take!! LMAO

We only got like 5 inches too. I hear stuff about 18 and sort of go "EGADS I'LL TAKE MY FIVE!!"

I know-- I have no idea how I'd get to work in 18 inches of snow! :)

Thankfully I get to park in the garage here, and in a garage at work, so there's no digging. ::phew:: I'm sure it sucks!

Back in December we got about 18 inches of snow. Some of the snow piles the plows made were about twice my size, but a lot of it melted off when it warmed up and rained. I'm quite happy with just a few inches at this point, ha ha.

Man! How did you even get your car out??

I... I just want the snow and cold to end altogether. Hell, I lived in a nice, warm, dry desert for eight years. I was spoiled in a fabulous climate.

LOL ... we had about 1½ inches last night, and that was plenty, after the double snowpocalypse we had last year!

Yaktrax are good for not breaking one''s neck, but they make my feet hurt.

(Yeah, late reply is late!) I checked out those yaktrax... looks like something you put over your shoe? I should get some for my mom, ha. She is getting all klutzy with her chemo and I have to follow her around anytime she goes outside. :)

The predicted snow for this weekend never materialized, phew.

That's a great start to getting rid of the holiday bulge.

So far this winter: more than two feet of snow on 12/26, 4-6 inches last Friday, and 6 inches today. One benefit of having lived in upstate NY for awhile is that driving in snow doesn't phase me that much. (Ice is a different matter.) However, since I live on a steep hill, I still have to be careful about driving during a storm.

Oh, man, one of my nightmares used to be having to live in a place that was (a) hilly and (b) got a lot of snow and ice. Part of the reason I don't live in Vermont or anything. :)

Heh, I grew up an hour away from the Vermont-New York border. Ditto the Massachusetts-New York border.

I just realized I misspelled "faze"! Ten lashes with a wet copy of Strunk & White, I guess.

Yeah, yeah... five inches was plenty, thanks! :) But yay, let's hope this week is just as good for getting rid of the holiday pounds!

I feel strange, because most of the US is having a lot of snow storms, while those of us on the west coast are burning our asses off. >.> I consider you guys lucky. I love the snow.

NOooooo I'm done with snow, already, and I've only lived back here in Indiana for six months. I'm tired of the cold! I'm so jealous of west-coasters right now.

(Grass is always greener, right? Heh.)
