There are terrifyingly large communities for icon makers, many of whom are happy for you to use their stuff if you comment and credit. My understanding of graphics programs is minimal at best, so I tend to rely on other people :-D
Howdy Sophie! Yeah, I've found the icon communities... but of course I gots to find my favorite pics and make my own. I've done it but they're not as polished as the usual.
