Ahhhh...

The rommmate is in Tucson. So I made eggplant dip and vegetarian hamburger helper, neither of which the roommate will eat, and took a break from writing my three fanfictions (yep, I have a life) to sit in the Jacuzzi. Did I mention that our rented house has a JACUZZI? :) I guess it makes up somewhat for the acres of tile floor that I have to clean. And paying someone to change the floodlights (another expense we hadn't anticipated).

It's nice, though, to go out and sit in hot water on a cold night (cold for Vegas, about 45 degrees) with a glass of wine. There's a sweet spot in the hot tub where you can get four jets on your back, two on the backs of your knees/calves, and two on your toesies. Who knew toes could be so relaxed? :)

So how was everyone else's weekend?

Obviously not quite as good as yours seems to have been. I have no jacuzzi at my place. :(

:) Well, I wouldn't have a jacuzzi either, if I had to buy. Shoot, I can't even buy the house. But the rent is good. Happy Monday!

Heh - no hot tub, and things are even chillier here than there. Spent the day visiting with in-laws: there was a surprise birthday party for my husband's uncle, so we drove wa-a-ay the hell out into the sticks (about an hour and a half) to his cousin's house. But the food was good, and the little kids at the party were cute.

Oh, driving out, socializing, that sort of thing. ;) I decided to hibernate this weekend, having the house to myself and all. And I heard it was pretty freakin' cold elsewhere and I was told to stop whining.

You do realize I have to experience this hot tub first hand when I impose myself on you two again in April for my convention? My parents got a hot tub and I love it when I go home...

Well, I didn't think I'd care that the house had a Jacuzzi-- figured I'd just leave it empty so I wouldn't have to clean it-- until I tried it out. Sigh. I don't think it'll be so nice in the summer, though-- the air outside would be hotter than the water! :)

Ooh, Jacuzzi! Enjoy it as often as you can while you live there! Hot tubs in cold weather are the best.
