jedishampooThe rommmate is in Tucson. So I made eggplant dip and vegetarian hamburger helper, neither of which the roommate will eat, and took a break from writing my three fanfictions (yep, I have a life) to sit in the Jacuzzi. Did I mention that our rented house has a JACUZZI? :) I guess it makes up somewhat for the acres of tile floor that I have to clean. And paying someone to change the floodlights (another expense we hadn't anticipated).
It's nice, though, to go out and sit in hot water on a cold night (cold for Vegas, about 45 degrees) with a glass of wine. There's a sweet spot in the hot tub where you can get four jets on your back, two on the backs of your knees/calves, and two on your toesies. Who knew toes could be so relaxed? :)
So how was everyone else's weekend?

Spent the day visiting with in-laws: there was a surprise birthday party for my husband's uncle, so we drove wa-a-ay the hell out into the sticks (about an hour and a half) to his cousin's house. But the food was good, and the little kids at the party were cute.
