Short Whinge

I just realized that I turn 39 in two days. Argh! Our 25-year-old mailroom guy told me "at least you're not 40 yet." I usually think 40 is young. Until I approach it. Such a hypocrite. :) Aw, I always get this way around my birthday. Ever since I turned 24 or so, I've managed to feel sorry for myself on my birthday. It's a personality flaw, I think.

I need porn. Will someone please write some unpretentious porn? Or if you're not of the porny persuasion, post me a picture of a pretty man?

Your mailroom guy is walking, living proof that youth is wasted on the young. You and I are pretty close in age. I could write you some porn, but I couldn't promise it wouldn't sound pretentious no matter how sincere I am while writing it. For some reason, it seems to work out like that.

Haha, yes he is, indeedy. I believe this is his first "real job" out of a prestigious college and he sometimes needs a reality check.

And haha, for the pretentious! Well, as long as it's porny, I guess I wouldn't complain. ;) And y'know, well-written or meaningful doesn't necessarily mean "pretentious."
