Short Whinge

I just realized that I turn 39 in two days. Argh! Our 25-year-old mailroom guy told me "at least you're not 40 yet." I usually think 40 is young. Until I approach it. Such a hypocrite. :) Aw, I always get this way around my birthday. Ever since I turned 24 or so, I've managed to feel sorry for myself on my birthday. It's a personality flaw, I think.

I need porn. Will someone please write some unpretentious porn? Or if you're not of the porny persuasion, post me a picture of a pretty man?

YUM, I agree, and he's definitely the right age. I really do need to see the Last Samurai at some point-- I'm just having problems getting past the Tom Cruise-iness.

Gah, Tom Cruise. And yet, I still like him in some movies.. Watanabe Ken was really good in Last Samurai! But if you can't handle the crazy that is Tom Cruise, you could try his other movies - Memoirs of a Geisha and Letters from Iwo Jima. I haven't seen Iwo Jima yet, but it got excellent reviews!

Oh, I did see Memoirs of a Geisha-- and yup, he was a hottie in that one.
