I had a really lovely birthday! I didn’t really mope much at all, I think. I got so many phone calls and e-mails and thoughts and some cards and prezzies from my lovely roomie

sharpeslass to keep me occupied and happy, and I’m truly grateful to have so many good friends and I’m such a lucky girl. :) ::tries to stop the gushing::

I woke up and

sharpeslass had set me up a little table display of my presents. Isn’t it pretty? :)

She made me yummy eggs benedict-- vegetarian, of course (she doesn’t even have to ask any more what I want for special occasion breakfasts; she just buys the ingredients for eggs benedict, heh)-- and then I got to open my presents. I got a Pinocchio DVD, a Tamaki plushie (squeeeeee for Tamaki!) and a gorgeous dress I’d been drooling over.

You see, I’d seen this pink, fluffy, frilly dress in the Pyramid Collection catalog and was going to buy it for myself, but sneaky

sharpeslass and my boss had convinced me that another dress in the catalog would look better on me. I was sad because they thought the pink, fluffy, frilly dress would not look good on me. “Am I not girly enough for the pink, fluffy, frilly dress?” I thought. Turns out M had already bought it for me. And it fits! Please excuse the picture, though; I just plain do not pose for pics and it flows better than it looks:
