I just realized that I turn 39 in two days. Argh! Our 25-year-old mailroom guy told me "at least you're not 40 yet." I usually think 40 is young. Until I approach it. Such a hypocrite. :) Aw, I always get this way around my birthday. Ever since I turned 24 or so, I've managed to feel sorry for myself on my birthday. It's a personality flaw, I think.

I need porn. Will someone please write some unpretentious porn? Or if you're not of the porny persuasion, post me a picture of a pretty man?

Seriously though, don't feel sorry for yourself, you've got some of the best times ahead of you (look at all your responses if you doubt that!) ... and make sure you do something nice for yourself for your birthday!

I would write you porn if I was writing anything but the dissertation at the moment. So, in lieu of that, I'll just send you good vibes and wish you the best!

I'd post you a picture of my newest boyfriend, but I can't figure out how. But when I do, I'll send him your way. Yeah, he might not be everyone's cup of tea, but damn if he isn't mine!
