My New Hair. & Misc pics.

I had a PMS-related "self-image" emergency last week. So I finally booked a hair appointment and had my hair chopped and colored and wheee, I needed it. It's a little shorter than I'm used to, but my hair grows so quickly I won't feel bald for long. :)

I asked for chop-chop-get-rid-of-it, an undercolor with red tints, and chunky blonde highlights. Here is what I got!



Here's my new hairdo after my hairdresser styled it (please excuse the office lighting, eeeek! It's so unflattering):




Here I am with re-washed and unstyled hair, with a tree growing out of my head thanks to Mom, woe. But the picture was taken in natural light, which I feel so much better about. :)



Here's my hair on New Year's Eve for comparison (I'm with my lovely lifelong friend Becky at her boyfriend's farmhouse):




And just for randommness, here are some pics I took around our yard during our ice storm a couple weeks back. Look at our poor bird-feeder! We couldn't open it for days.










In other news, I'm almost done with Cryoburn. I'm taking my time with it, in an attempt to not read ::spoiler:: that I already know happens. Woe!

Heh, I seriously don't get that! Though I have an opposite number named "Kelly" out there, somewhere. People used to walk up to me in college all the time and go "hey, Kelly!"
